Alcatraz East is a tourist destination for people from across the country. Due to our patronage, we are limited on the amount of books we sell due to space and demands.

When selecting books for our retail shop, we take into consideration the content of the book, the potential interest to our visitors, and the book’s relevance to our displays. Once a book is selected, we will start with a very small number of copies and see how quickly they sell. If demand is demonstrated, we will then move forward with additional orders.
